The show ain't over 'til the dead guys sing...uh oh!

On October 1st, 2005, after ten years, the boys hung up their corded
microphones, 45rpm record collection, accordion, cotton ball and golden
cardigan for good. Enthusiastic audiences joined them for three very
special final shows at the beautifully renovated
Tulsa Little Theatre. They
saw some familiar faces, heard some great music, and shed a tear over
some great memories.

Rumors of an impending revival have proven to be true.

What part of Forever don't you understand?

A show that became a Tulsa institution, over 400 performances seen by
thousands of (sometimes fanatical) fans, Forever Plaid "is dedicated to
the good guys, the guys who saved their allowances to give their parents
an extra special night on the town for their anniversary, wheeled the
projector carts for the Driver Education Films, didn't go beyond first base,
and if, by some miracle, they did, they didn't tell anyone."

Forever Plaid has been a Tulsa institution for 15 years — and during that time there have probably been
more than a few talented people who thought, "I’d like to do that." Well several stalwart souls got a
chance to prove it! After weeks of preparation with the Tulsa Plaid group and special guest coaches, the
newbies performed beloved songs from the show (“Undecided/This or That”, "Crazy 'Bout Ya",
"Scotland The Brave") in a series of special performances. They mixed in with the current Plaids and
even tackled the Mount Everest of Plaid-dom, The Ed Sullivan Show!
